Before Eastside Golf became a brand, it was a shared experience.
Two students met on the golf team at Morehouse College, navigating a game that didn’t always feel built for them—until they arrived on that campus. What they found there was more than a team. It was brotherhood, community, and a sense of belonging that would shape everything that came next.
There was no blueprint. No business plan. Just a growing belief that something bigger was waiting for them.
Where It Started
In 2010, winning a national championship felt like reaching a mountaintop. On paper, it was a title. In reality, it was proof.
Proof that they belonged. Proof that they could compete.
Moments like that don’t just live in memory, they reshape how you think. They expand your idea of what’s possible. And once that shift happens, it stays with you. Morehouse wasn’t just a place to study or compete. It was an environment that expanded perspective. It introduced new standards, new expectations, and new possibilities. It gave two young men the confidence to see themselves differently: No longer just student-athletes, but now individuals capable of moving through spaces that once felt out of reach.
At the time, it may have felt like a chapter. Looking back, it was the foundation.
What It Became
That foundation became Eastside Golf. From the beginning, the vision was never just about apparel, it was about access.
Golf had already opened doors: New environments, new relationships, new ways of thinking. But it was clear that many others were still standing outside of those doors. That realization shaped the mission early on: If Eastside Golf was going to grow, it had to grow with purpose.
